From Wikipedia:

Highlander: The Series is a fantasy-adventure television series featuring Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul) of the Scottish Clan MacLeod, as the Highlander. It was an offshoot and another alternate sequel of the 1986 feature film with a twist: Connor MacLeod did not win the prize and Immortals still exist post-1985. In fact, original Highlander star Christopher Lambert appeared in the Pilot episode so as to pass the torch to Adrian Paul. The series was an international hit and was nominated three times for the Gemini Awards and once for a Saturn Award in 1998.

From Highlander Wiki:

Highlander: The Series was a science fiction television series that ran from 1992 to 1998. An offshoot of the 1986 feature film, the series had a slight twist: Connor MacLeod didn't win the prize and there are still thousands of Immortals in existence post-1985. The series featured Duncan MacLeod (played by Adrian Paul), a fellow clansman and Connor's cousin, as the main character, with Christopher Lambert making an appearance in the pilot episode to symbolically pass the torch to Adrian Paul. An international hit, the series was nominated three times for a Gemini Award and once for a Saturn Award in 1998. Although there was talk of a remake of the series back in 2009 with Connor MacLeod once again serving as the main character, there has been no further information since then.

From Wikipedia:

Highlander is a 1986 fantasy action film directed by Russell Mulcahy and based on a story by Gregory Widen. It stars Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Clancy Brown, and Roxanne Hart. The film depicts the climax of an ages-old battle between immortal warriors, depicted through interwoven past and present day storylines. Despite having enjoyed little success in its initial U.S. release, the cult film launched Lambert to stardom and inspired a franchise that included film sequels, television spin-offs, and an upcoming remake. The film's tagline, "There can be only one," has carried on throughout the franchise, as have the songs provided for the film by Queen.

The above info is because Google keeps identifying my entire website as the "Mother of All Highlander Links" rather than completely disassociating it after the original link archive was retired in 2006. It is hoped that by providing Highlander related content this page will again pick up the traffic and allow the rest of my website to be detected on its own merits.
